Capitol in Luneburg

I am not one of the regular customers, but all impressions of the Capitol so far have been completely positive. The restaurant is characterized by a friendly manner, delicious food and a pleasant, authentic atmosphere. The goose for Christmas is also a great offer if you have the necessary change and want to give yourself and your family a delicious meal.

We tried the "goose to go" today and are absolutely thrilled. Everything was very well prepared. When I got home (approx. 10 km) the food was still well tempered and the goose was crispy. All the side dishes were wonderfully prepared and the goose was served very appetizingly on an aluminum platter. When it was finished, the "goose-to-go" had several advantages: in the current situation we were able to support our local restaurateur; had the great kitchen of the Capitol right at home and were able to make ourselves comfortable on the sofa after this delicious meal without having the battlefield in our own kitchen. We will definitely use the great offer again. A really recommendable pleasure.

Very nice restaurant with good food and very nice and helpful staff. During the Corona period there is a shortened menu, but we always found something delicious. The cinema is only a 5-minute walk away, so you can combine a visit to the Capitol with a visit to the cinema. But you can also stop here at the end of a day of shopping. We recommend!

World class! We had the 'breakfast buffet at the table', as a buffet was not possible due to the requirements. The store is really great. You always get a table, even if you haven't reserved. The breakfast was super today and the staff was really nice and in a good mood. This is how I imagine good service, especially in this current situation. Keep it up.

It started with the waitress telling us that we parked our bikes incorrectly. Then we were still allowed to order the drinks. Unfortunately we never got a menu. My companion raised his hand at least 15 times, which the waitress obviously ignored. We were also allowed to pay for the expired cola 05/2020. He would tell the man at the bar, but that's about it. Service quality is unfortunately extremely bad. I can't say anything about the quality of the food, since we didn't get anything. We only sat with our drinks for 1 hour. Maybe the employees should get training.

An extraordinary, inviting location in the former cinema. Very comfortable seating. The service was fast, friendly and accommodating. The menu is a colorful mix. Everyone will find something here, including vegetarians. The dishes were all ok.

The location is rustic and due to the history unique. The staff is very friendly and super polite. Food was delicious, German food just. Quite frankly a bit too high and the toilets could use a new coat of paint. The quality of the food is good, it has all tasted.

Food was absolutely great for a reasonable price and the staff were lovely. It was very full, but they still tried their best to fit us in. It took quite some time for the food to arrive though, which was mainly because of how full it was.
